Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates to job sites
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all hauls
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic regulations at all times
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Support emergency response operations during inclement weather or project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck or heavy equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of local Greensboro/Guilford County roadways
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and occasional weekends
- Excellent time management and communication skills
