Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation and real-time traffic updates
- Verify package accuracy and maintain delivery logs with digital scanning tools
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and address delivery issues
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and surrounding areas
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scanning and communication
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to designated depot (parking provided)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
