Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of parcels to residential and commercial addresses throughout New Orleans.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring packages are secure during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being polite and professional at every interaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and digital delivery logs accurately.
- Utilize handheld technology for navigation and proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of the New Orleans area geography is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for navigation.
