Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods across North Carolina routes using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch teams regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation
- Reliable transportation to/from distribution center
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
