Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout the Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from designated depot
