Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on designated regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper documentation and handling protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety standards
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route changes and delays
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS rules
- Excellent navigation skills and regional route familiarity
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
