Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries within 250-mile radius
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and vehicle maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load assignments
- Provide exceptional customer service during point-to-point deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Uphall strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Own DOT-compliant box truck (24-26ft preferred)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Reliable smartphone with data connectivity
