Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided trucks for dedicated long-haul routes across Hawaii and mainland corridors
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimize routes
- Safely handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or secure transport
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards
- Represent Pacific Transport Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Strong knowledge of Hawaii geography and mainland freight corridors
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate loading equipment when needed
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for overnight trips and extended time away from home
