Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within Chula Vista
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer signatures via mobile app
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle daily (fuel, cleanliness, safety)
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Resolve delivery exceptions and customer inquiries professionally
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Support warehouse operations during peak hours as needed
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based operations
- Strong navigation skills and local Chula Vista knowledge
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Background check and drug test clearance required
- COVID-19 vaccination preferred (accommodations available)
