Your Role as a Box Truck Owner Operator:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who take pride in their business. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own schedule while enjoying the support of a top-tier logistics network.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26' box truck in urban and suburban environments within Tulsa and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo using proper forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to commercial and residential drop points.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, bill of lading, and log entries accurately.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Apex Logistics with excellence.
Qualifications
- Must own a clean, well-maintained 26' box truck (or larger) with valid registration and insurance.
- Current DOT/MC numbers and proof of insurance are required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Tulsa, OK roads and logistics hubs is highly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety.
- Proficient with handheld devices for navigation and paperwork.
