Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for time-sensitive freight deliveries throughout Oahu
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and vehicle documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized routing and scheduling
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to Hawaii DOT and federal transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26' or larger) in excellent condition
- Knowledge of Honolulu geography and delivery protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
