Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for freight transport across Texas and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Manage inventory documentation and proof of delivery procedures
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Own or have access to a box truck (26+ ft) in good working condition
- Proven experience in LTL, freight, or regional box truck operations
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and constant connectivity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum coverage)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
