Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/reefer) for weekend delivery routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Load/unload shipments with precision and care
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Deliver to industrial/commercial sites on strict weekend schedules
- Report maintenance needs and vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- 2+ years verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with GPS navigation and ELD systems
- Strong time management for weekend delivery deadlines
- Knowledge of Ohio/Indiana/Kentucky highway systems
