Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Execute precise loading/unloading procedures using advanced logistics systems
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs (ELD) and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized delivery schedules
- Implement secure cargo handling protocols for high-value shipments
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass comprehensive background and drug screening
