Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries within the Seattle metropolitan area
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Navigate complex urban routes and construction zones with expert precision
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery schedules and maintain timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
