Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within San Jose Bay Area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Optimize routes to ensure on-time deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
- Communicate delivery status and traffic conditions to dispatch team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of California road regulations and San Jose area geography
- Pass mandatory background check and drug screening
