Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using our fleet management system
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and ensure on-time arrivals
- Load/unload cargo using proper techniques and equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and California state traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and fleet tracking software
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of San Francisco traffic patterns and delivery zones
