Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods within San Francisco Bay Area
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate complex urban routes using GPS and route optimization tools
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and road conditions
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with California DOT regulations
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
