Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in a safe and efficient manner across the Phoenix metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility for overtime as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
