Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight within Phoenix metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and complete accurate delivery documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Secure cargo and maintain load stability throughout transport
- Communicate professionally with clients and warehouse personnel
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance to fleet manager
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Phoenix metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to start shifts as early as 4:00 AM
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
