Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local and regional deliveries within NYC metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Accurately document delivery logs and mileage reports
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Manage loading/unloading operations with warehouse teams
- Navigate complex urban routes using GPS technology
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and borough geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
