Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local/regional routes within Nashville and surrounding areas
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and regional highways
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems
