Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated delivery points in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers, dock workers, and facility personnel.
- Keep the truck interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Sunday).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles area routes and logistics hubs.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
