Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on designated routes throughout Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Load & Unload: Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are handled with care and proper equipment.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition and compliant with safety standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by DOT regulations.
- Communication: Coordinate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues professionally.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and modern fleet management software.
