Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Physically fit and able to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Experience in long-haul or regional truck driving is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for logging and communication.
