Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend delivery routes within Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure mechanical safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Adhere strictly to DOT hours-of-service regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology and route planning
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Must reside within 30 miles of Fort Worth
