Job Overview
We are looking for safety-conscious individuals to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight across Texas and surrounding regions, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and DOT requirements.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily driver logs.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and federal safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) and DOT Drug Screening clearance.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of trucking equipment, maintenance, and DOT regulations.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
