Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend deliveries throughout El Paso and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Support cross-training initiatives during off-peak periods
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of El Paso metro routes and border crossings
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun or Sat-Sun)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic GPS navigation proficiency
- Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
