Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for weekend delivery routes across El Paso County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records using ELD systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery timelines
- Handle hazardous materials shipments with proper certification protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- 2+ years of commercial trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of El Paso area highways and delivery zones
- HazMat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
