Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL required) safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand tools, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cargo handling.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
