Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 trucks for weekend delivery routes throughout Denver metropolitan area
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Complete accurate pre-trip inspections and post-trip documentation
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with GPS tracking and communication systems
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control and secure transport
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and emergency adjustments
- Represent Peak Logistics with professional conduct at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of cab frequently
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card preferred
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile communication tools
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strict compliance standards
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) is mandatory
