Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional deliveries within 100-mile radius of Denver
- Complete pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology for timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Denver metro area and mountain corridors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional overtime during peak seasons
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
