Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely drive heavy-duty trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in and around the Dallas metro area.
- Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance before departure and after arrival.
- Cargo Handling: Secure cargo properly and perform necessary loading and unloading duties.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery times, cargo manifests, and vehicle mileage.
- Route Planning: Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and ensure high levels of satisfaction with every delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) with the required endorsements.
- Medical Card: Hold a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work the weekend shift (Friday through Sunday) consistently.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use electronic logging devices (ELD) effectively.
