Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes across Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Accurately complete electronic logs, delivery paperwork, and inventory documentation
- Load/unload freight efficiently with proper securement techniques
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with at least 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong time management skills for weekend shift deadlines
- Flexibility to work Saturdays/Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Knowledge of Ohio highway systems and regional routes
