Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van/refrigerated) for weekend deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for timely pick-ups/deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service at client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (California)
- 2+ years commercial trucking experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of LA metro traffic patterns
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (6AM-6PM)
