Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (26+ ft) for local and regional deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage time-sensitive weekend delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego metro area
- Basic navigation skills and route optimization
- Excellent time management and reliability
