Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for weekend delivery routes
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely weekend deliveries
- Represent Austin Logistics professionally at all customer sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday, 6 AM - 6 PM)
- Basic knowledge of Austin metro area geography
- DOT medical certification
- Pass background check and drug screening
