Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight within Washington DC and surrounding Maryland/Virginia areas
- Pre-trip inspection and maintenance of assigned vehicle
- Accurate completion of delivery documentation and logs
- Excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordination with dispatch team for efficient routing
- Basic warehouse duties when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-6PM)
- Knowledge of DC metro area roadways
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
