Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between distribution centers and client sites
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes and delivery status
- Maintain clean and professional vehicle appearance
- Handle documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Support warehouse operations during loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Seattle metro area roadways
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for digital logbook maintenance
