Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods throughout Phoenix and surrounding areas
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while maintaining proper securing procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate in various weather conditions while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Friday-Sunday) with occasional holiday availability
- Strong knowledge of Phoenix metro area and Arizona highway systems
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb in/out of trailer frequently
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication and route navigation
