Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (26+ GVWR) for local and regional deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Ensure timely delivery of goods in optimal condition
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of NYC boroughs and surrounding areas
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
