Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) for weekend deliveries within Seattle metropolitan area
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques (no-touch freight available)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems while maintaining on-time delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and route changes
- Maintain clean driving record with zero preventable incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM schedule)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Familiarity with Washington State roadways and delivery zones
- Physical ability to handle freight up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
