Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail items to residential and commercial locations across Virginia Beach
- Maintain accurate delivery records using our mobile app and GPS tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Safely operate company vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and customers in real-time
- Assist with basic inventory management and loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/difficult terrain
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach neighborhoods and major roadways
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for GPS and communication
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deliveries efficiently
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions
