Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated routes
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using GPS tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery updates
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year experience)
- Ability to operate box trucks or delivery vans (training provided)
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Columbus area
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Pass background check and drug screening
