Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses efficiently and safely within the designated time windows.
- Verify delivery information against the delivery manifest to ensure accuracy.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, including obtaining signatures and handling returns when necessary.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled as required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Must have a reliable smartphone (iPhone or Android) with data capabilities for GPS navigation.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent schedule.
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
