Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within the Seattle metropolitan area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices to log delivery attempts, confirm signatures, and update status.
- Handle packages with extreme care to ensure they are delivered in perfect condition.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-ready.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delivery issues immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no DUI in the last 3 years).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for navigation and digital paperwork.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
