Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations within the Milwaukee metro area with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Navigate efficiently using company-provided GPS and route planning tools to optimize travel time.
- Interact professionally with customers, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor at every delivery.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery van is clean, safe, and mechanically sound.
- Handle cash or digital payments for CODs and maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Strong sense of direction and familiarity with the Milwaukee area.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for route updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
