Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations within Denver and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages efficiently while adhering to strict safety and weight distribution protocols.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow GPS directions and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of Denver geography and traffic patterns is highly preferred.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with handheld delivery devices or smartphones is a plus.
