Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across Jacksonville using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries within 2-hour windows
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Track inventory and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisors
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills with punctual delivery performance
- Basic smartphone for communication and route updates
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible weekday backup availability
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
