Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial locations throughout Indianapolis
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and address inquiries
- Load/unload packages securely, ensuring proper handling of fragile or temperature-sensitive items
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and navigate Indianapolis streets confidently
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery schedules consistently
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Physical capability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and delivery tracking
- High school diploma or equivalent required
